Two things make us different

The hair is already here.
Most salons consult first and order your hair afterwards, which adds 7 to 10 days before anything can start. We hold 300 to 400 ponytails in stock at any time, in lengths from 16 to 32 inches. Tell us your shade and we will let you know straight away whether we have a match.

Two stylists, not one.
We work in pairs. A new installation takes up to 3 hours, instead of the six or seven a single stylist needs. If two clients need us at the same time, we have stylists we can call in.

Everything is priced per strand, which means you can work the total out before you arrive. If you know how many strands you need, you know what the work will cost. There is no deposit and no prepayment.

Invisible K-tip extensions
We use keratin-capsule extensions, known as K-tip. Each capsule is formed by hand and sealed with Italian tongs. We keep them between 0.7 and 1 gram — small enough that you cannot find them by running a hand through your hair, which is why the method is often called invisible extensions.
What decides the result is the placement scheme, not the method. Most stylists apply the same pattern to every client. A head with two or three crowns does not take the same pattern as a head with one — apply it anyway, and the hair grows out into thin, exposed patches. We map the scheme to your scalp before the first capsule goes in.
Tape-in and micro-rings: when they make sense
We work with these too, and we will tell you honestly when they are not the right choice for you.
Tape-in
Tape-in attaches wefts between layers of your own hair. It suits thick, dense hair that can hide the tape. On finer hair our clients tend to find it stiff — you feel the strips when you move.
Micro-rings
Micro-rings attach strands with small metal beads, with no heat and no glue. They suit coarse, dense hair. On fine European hair the beads press against the scalp, they are noticeable when you sleep, and they do not sit as cleanly.

The hair we work with
Our main suppliers are in Eastern Europe: Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. We also buy raw hair from Iran and Vietnam and process it ourselves. Everything is sterilized, industrially washed and dried in our own facility before it is capsulated.
We stock lengths from 16 to 32 inches. Most people choose somewhere between 16 and 24. Twenty-six is less common, and 32 is genuinely rare — very long, very expensive, and not something most people need.
How long it lasts, and what a year actually costs
With proper care, three months between visits. At the three month mark we take the strands out, re-capsulate them and put the same hair back in. Removal is $100, re-capsulation is $100, and the installation itself is charged as usual, at $4.50 per strand. For a typical 100 strand set that comes to about $650 for the visit — and no new hair to buy.
One set of hair usually lasts a full year. The hair itself is a once a year purchase, not something you buy again every time.
A re-extension takes about an hour longer than a new installation, because the old capsules have to come off first. If hair has been left to mat badly, it takes longer than that, and we will tell you what we are looking at before we start rather than halfway through.
Up to 10% of the capsules may slip during the wear period. That is normal — your own hair renews itself and every donor strand has a lifespan. Come in and we will put them back. Check-ups during wear are free, including light detangling.
Aftercare: how to keep your extensions
- Sleep with your hair in a soft ponytail or a loose braid.
- Wash your hair vertically. Do not tip your head forward.
- Use products made for extensions: the right shampoos, masks and combs.
- Do not tie any other ponytails during the first week.
- Do not use scalp oils at any point during wear. Oil makes the capsules slip.
- Swimming: tie your hair up properly before you get in the water, brush it gently afterwards, and use a treatment after each swim. Sun does not affect extensions at all — water does, and the thing to avoid is letting wet hair tangle, because severe matting is very hard to undo.
- Come in for a check-up during the wear period. Check-ups are free.
When extensions should wait
A bond is not attached to the root. It is placed on the hair itself, a few millimetres below the scalp. The root still matters, because it has to carry the weight of your own hair plus the hair we add — and that is what decides whether now is the right time.
If you are going through chemotherapy, we will not take the appointment. Hair sheds during treatment and the strands are fragile; adding weight to them means losing them altogether. We usually work with clients six to eight months after treatment ends, once their own hair has grown back and is dense enough to carry it. We have taken clients through exactly that, and it works.
The same applies to hormonal hair loss, or any other cause. We do not need to know what started it. What we assess is whether your hair is ready right now.
While your hair is recovering, a Singapore Spa® scalp treatment is what we would suggest. When your hair is ready, extensions are back on the table.
If you lost length after a bleaching accident but your roots are healthy, that is a different situation entirely. That is a good base, and we work with it often.

Complex coloring, built out of the hair itself
From $350Our lead stylist is both a colorist and an extension specialist, which is rarer than it sounds. It means the two jobs get planned together: we color your own hair first, then choose extension hair in a shade that deliberately differs from your new base. The balayage or ombre is built out of the hair we add, rather than painted on afterwards.
The final price depends on where your hair is starting from.

Singapore Spa® — $150, 60 minutes
A water-based head and scalp treatment. Most clients fall asleep during it. The session works the surface of the scalp and lifts away the excess oil and product build-up that ordinary washing leaves behind. It finishes with a blow-dry.
Singapore Spa® is our registered US trademark (Reg. No. 7,676,923), and this is where it comes from. We also train other salons in the technique — if you have seen Singapore Spa® offered elsewhere, those stylists trained with us.
It is also what we recommend to clients whose own hair is growing back and who want to prepare for extensions later.

Happiness for Hair — $130
A treatment system of more than fifteen serums, applied in sequence to the roots and along the hair. It is worth doing if you color often, if your hair has taken damage, or simply because you live in Florida and the humidity does its own work on hair.
Who you will be working with
A team of four. Maria Melnikova is our lead stylist and has taught extension and coloring techniques in eight countries. The other three stylists trained with her. The salon and every stylist hold Florida cosmetology licenses.
